From the balmy shores of Canada comes the sunny duo 538st featuring brothers Sam and Jake Cooke. With a foundation of hip-hop that melds jazzy R’n’B and funk, their sound is reminiscent yet fresh. Based out of Kelowna, BC, 538st formed in 2019 and has been building their platform, booking ever-bigger shows and garnering attention from prominent names in the music industry. The band especially shines in their live performance, where they exude infectious energy and musicality. Along with being front runners in their local scene, 538st has amassed passionate fans across the globe.

Their fans are diverse and dedicated to supporting the project, many devoted enough to get the 538st tattoo and join the family for life. The band commonly surprises the audience with their exciting contrast between their look and their sound. The good vibes pass effortlessly between the stage and crowd, making it impossible not to dance. Sam and Jake push for musical growth and evolution while they stay grounded in their roots; 538st is named for their childhood home, in the town where they have a vigorous fan base of die-hard supporters.

RaytheNihilist is an award-nominated Indigenous Hip Hop artist representing the Blood Tribe. Ray began his career in Hip-Hop Music after searching for something different from his earlier music endeavours. So far in his catalogue, Ray holds three E.P.S and various singles boasting self-produced instrumentals. Most recently, Ray released his “I’ve Been Doing Good” EP on August 4th, 2023, a five-song Extended Play Project that has been well received so far!

Ray has collaborated with prominent artists such as Travis Thompson, Junk, Young Stitch & More, as well as opened for acts such as Snak the Ripper, Merkules, Rich Homie Quan, and Lil Windex, and in 2022, was invited as a guest opener as part of Junk and Young Stitches, Lions Eat Goats Tour which is also about the time Ray was brought into the Household Movement. This past July, Ray headlined his own I’ve Been Doing Good Tour ahead of releasing the project and ended 2023 with his Not Even Finished Tour.
