Appearing at Sundog Fest Kick-Off Weekend – Saturday Night!

The Somos Colombia Dance Group is composed of members from the Colombian community in the Okanagan, including children, secondary students, stay-at-home partners, and working professionals. Founded in December 2018, the group was created to explore Colombian folklore and culture through dance while actively participating in community events. The traditional costumes and accessories are handcrafted by local artisans in Colombia.

All proceeds from our performances go back to these artisans, as we purchase our dresses, traditional alpargatas (shoes), and accessories directly from Colombia.
